Becoming A Wilkerson

As I approach the final days of being the fiancé to becoming his wife, it was only proper to have a bridal shower hosted by the people that I hold dear. A mixture of family, friends and very close clients were all in attendance. It was rather fitting to have it in NYC, being that I am so close to many there and my family from the surrounding areas could easily come. My sister who is my ace and my maid of Honor, with the help of her amazing friends, all with backgrounds in interior design, fashion, and culinary came together and made this day so unbelievably special for me. My heart is so full of gratitude and love.

Thank you,

Lon.

Daily Scalp Care

For your dry scalp (especially as we bare these cold winter months) place coconut oil with a few drops of tea tree or peppermint oil on your fingertips and massage your scalp. This motion will not only help your dry scalp but will increase blood flow as well. The stimulation will activate the sebaceous glands and create blood flow, which feeds the follicle and Creates Hair Growth!!

Daily Strand Care

For dry mid lengths and ends, try jojoba oil, almond oil or a little grapeseed oil. These oils will seal the hair creating that barrier to prevent moisture loss. Oiling the hair can also lay the cuticle giving hair a shiner appearance.

Weekly Care/ Bi- Weekly Care

Pick an oil of your choice and pretreat (oil the hair from root to tip) your hair, on your washday or the day before.  This is will ensure the hair is not striped by your shampoo. Proceed with your cleansing regimen and deep condition the hair (25 min). Try alternating between your treatments with hydration and strengthening conditioners, keep a good balance in your care regimen.

Bi-Monthly Care

Every 2 months (tops 3) give your hair what it needs, get your hair trimmed, even if it just and 1/8 of an inch. At any length try to keep your ends smooth and blunt. You will not only have the ease of detangling your hair but more importantly this will help retain your length.
