Hi there, London here,

I am a textured hair care specialist, salon owner, and educator based in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 10, my grandmother Betty Jo purchased my very first blow dryer with attachments. My mother never let my sister and I get relaxers, hence the “texture specialist”—I had no choice but to be! I’ve had my hands in my own hair and been trusted with the hair care of many others from a very young age. It was definitely a passion of mine. Who knew that God would turn that passion into a career?

After graduating from Georgia Southern, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Marketing, I moved to New York. I worked in Fashion PR for two years before attending the Aveda Institute in Manhattan. Let’s just say, those days were some of the best days of my life. I was a “natural” at it.

What I didn’t realize was that this career path would bring out something I had been doing naturally all my life—the gift of connecting with people so easily. I’ve used my career to uplift, empower, and rebuild the female community. Finding my purpose in life has been by far the greatest reward. Hair styling has simply been my vehicle to fulfill that purpose.

Creating a space where quality stylists can thrive and women can feel comfortable, confident, and cared for has always been my goal. I don’t just want women to leave feeling beautiful; I want them to leave feeling empowered and strong enough to be their best selves, which in turn makes them better for the world around them.
